Haunted jumbotron showing dead relatives
Skydome electricians have been forced to repair a malfunctioning Jumbotron™ television screen, after a series of bizarre events. During the 7th period of a semifinals game between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Montrear Mets, the 72-foot screen began flickering and losing signal. After what was thought to be an uneventful repair, the screen allegedly began displaying footage of deceased relatives of many audience members. The City of Toronto faces several court cases revolving emotional trauma caused by such vivid images of passed-away loved ones. One victim, 46-year-old Samantha Constance, reports seeing "Aunt Ella" displayed on the screen just after the pitch. This phenomena was followed by several minutes of chaos as players and audience members fled the building in fear. "It's OK", Aunt Ellie assured the panicking bystanders, "We're all doing fine, and Uncle Jed and I send our best wishes".

Lone shopping cart standing majestically in middle of field
A single shopping cart was sighted in a rural Seattle plain Tuesday, a relic of a long-lost species. The field cart, or cartus domesticus was thought extinct outside captivity following the domestication of the species in 1834. Some skeptics remain in the scientific community, but many are excited about the implications of what many are calling the "Coelacanth of the Northwest". Several students on a biologic tour of the small town have described it as "beautiful" and "majestic". "It's a symbol of power and glory to me", explains one student, "with a wild spirit and a lower rack useful for storing heavy goods".
